Join UNLV guitar faculty and students in a week of classical guitar technique, ensembles, and lessons. The camp is designed for beginning to advanced classical guitar students. Activities include technical workshops that will  develop right and left hand technique, scales, arpeggios, slurs, and finger independence. All students will perform in a large ensemble and break out into smaller ensembles. Group lessons will be divided into different skill levels. Students will learn new music daily. The final day will end with a recital featuring student solos, ensembles, and faculty. Students must provide their own nylon classical guitar and footstool.

This summer camp is open to any student who will be in grades 9-12 during the 2024-2025 school year, as well as recent high school graduates (class of 2024).
