Culinary Mini Boot Camp

Jump into the Culinary Mini Boot Camp, a hands-on 2-day adventure with Chef Chris Lindsay! High school students will level up their cooking skills, designing trendy menus and mastering new culinary techniques. With a focus on teamwork, safety, sanitation, and communication, you’ll get the full chef experience – including serving your creation to industry professionals. Plus, explore how a bachelor’s in Hospitality Management can kickstart your career in the restaurant industry.

There are two mini camps, see dates listed below. Each camp can accommodate 15 students.

Camp 1: May 27-28, 2025

Camp 2: May 29-30, 2025

Cost: $250

Location: UNLV Campus – Stan Fulton

Eligibility: Students must be a current high school student with at least a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA. Preference for this camp will be given to students who have some culinary experience either through work experience or through a culinary student organization.
