GUIC Summer Camp

The five-week GUIC Summer Camp aims to train 40 female students entering Grade 7-12 in Arduino programming and robotics design as well as integration of these tools to conduct projects in ubiquitous intelligent systems in tiered teams co-mentored by college students and STEM teachers. The summer camp includes three-week training and two-week project development.

Rebel Teach Concurrent Enrollment Program

The Rebel Teach program allows students to enroll in UNLV College of Education courses while they are in high school. These courses are taught on the high school campus by high school faculty members.

Southern Nevada Writing Project Camps

As one of nearly 185 writing project sites affiliated with the National Writing Project (NWP), the SNWP offers a writing institute for K-12 educators each year, along with a writing camp for K-12 students. Writing Fusion

Our emphasis is on creating life-long writers who feel confident and comfortable in all steps of the writing process. Students of all ability levels will explore different genres and engage in various types of authentic writing activities to challenge them to grow as writers.
